Heddlu Bach - Mini Police
Heddlu Bach 2023-2024
The children in Juniper class are looking forward to continuing their duties as Mini Police around the school. In the Autumn term, they created a rotation schedule in which each day members of the class put on their uniforms and go down to the lower school at playtimes. The Heddlu Bach are currently using our Jigsaw games to teach the younger children new ways of playing.
Spring Term- This term, the mini police are looking forward to working more closely with local PCSOs. They have also initiated a Reading Buddy scheme in which they visit the children of Oak class to aide them in their reading.
Remembrance Service
Thank you to the Heddlu Bach boys and girls who came along to Machen Remembrance Service this morning to represent our school and our community and also to lay our poppy wreath at the cenotaph. We are all so proud of you.
Heddlu Bach - Mini Police 'Passing Out Parade'
PC Lisa, PC Menna and PC Rebecca visited us this morning to award the successful Heddlu Bach pupils with their certificates and uniforms. The pupils will be involved in a range of community event this year starting with attending the Machen Remembrance Service on Sunday.
