Welcome to The Eco Committee's Web Page.
The Eco Committee is made up of Eco Warriors from Year 2-6.
We meet on Tuesdays with Mr Smith. In 2024 we are putting a plan together to win our green flag. We will be working on three targets which we will decide together. One of those targets will be to reduce our food waste. How could you help with this?

With help from Fran and Keep Wales Tidy we planted 100 trees in our school field to eventually create shade for future Graig-Y-Rhacca Primary children to use and enjoy. 14/3/23

Eco Warriors Are Awarded Their Eco Flag! 2019/20
On Thursday, 5th July, we received an Eco Schools assessment and we are thrilled to announce that we were awarded with our Green Eco Flag! All the Eco Warriors and Miss Wade have worked so hard this year to ensure that our school is a green as it can be. We have also been working closely with our governors and our community to ensure that we are helping the environment as much as we can. Together we can save our planet.
Well done to all the Eco Warriors, Miss Wade and all our school community for helping us to achieve this fantastic award.
