Weekly Community Engagement Opportunities
Monday
1:00-3:00- Parent Gardening Committee
Join our small, dedicated group of parents/carers as they care for our beautiful school outdoor environments. From class allotment beds to our new Tiny Forest, there are plenty of jobs for those who enjoy gardening, growing or simply being outdoors This group works closely with One Planet Matters, who provide training to all members on maintenance and sustainability of our green spaces. Participants are invited to register as school volunteers, enabling them to work independently around the school and work with our pupils when the opportunity arises. Come along to a fortnightly meeting and find out how you can help us keep our school beautiful.
Tuesday
9:00-11:00- Multiply Family Learning (Little Acorns and Cherry Blossom)
Following the popularity of their courses last year, Multiply have returned to our school to deliver fun family learning sessions for lower school pupils. Numeracy Fun sessions are free, interactive workshops where you and your child work together to explore how you can support their confidence with numeracy at home through games and resources.
1:00-2:00- Let’s Talk With Your Baby
For the first time, we are proudly hosting this GAVO group for parents and children age 6-12 months. These welcoming, supportive sessions guide parents in supporting their babes through their first milestones, laying the foundations for communication and positive family relationships. Wednesday
10:00-12:00 Bright Beginnings
This eight week programme returns to support a new cohort of parents of babies eight weeks to six months old. Come along to meet other parents, access expert advice from experienced professionals and explore how your baby is developing week-by-week. 2:30-3:30- Parents Group
Join our active and enthusiastic parents group to support the school in your child’s education, raise money for worthy causes and plan fun treats and extras for pupils throughout the year.
Thursday
9:00-12:00- CCBC Housing Support
Drop in and speak to our experienced and friendly Graig-Y-Rhacca Housing Officer for queries and help with housing issues. No appointment required.
1:30-3:00- Baby and Toddler Group
For families with children 0-3 years. Join our friendly, welcoming and fun weekly sessions, including for sensory play, healthy snacks, stories and songs every Thursday afternoon.
Last Friday of the month
12:00-3:00 Community Café and Warm Hub
We host regular café/warm hub sessions in our beautiful Willow Lounge for the local community to use and enjoy. Relax in a warm, cosy and friendly environment. Refreshments will be available, from hot drinks to sweet treats and freshly cooked meals, all served at discounted prices. With no obligation to make purchases, this community resource is open to all.

Parents Group Big Breakfasts
Join us in the Willow Lounge for delicious breakfast fundraisers by our Parents Group. Proceeds will go towards funding seasonal activities for all pupils. Please see the school app, school calendar and our Instagram page for upcoming dates and times.
