Dosbarth 7

Year 6 parents/carers please see the message below from Mr. S Diehl, Headteacher of Bedwas Primary about the transition meeting for parents.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming your child to Bedwas High School next week. Unfortunately, we are not in a position to have large groups of people in one area on our site still. We are hopeful this will not be the case in September, when we will have a Year 7 evening for parents. Instead, there will be a range of videos covering all aspects of school life from wellbeing to the curriculum to pupil progress. Please access these videos through the transition section on our website with your child from 5pm on Wednesday the 29th of June. Should you have any questions, specific or general, then please complete this form: https://forms.office.com/r/Eb4BU5KE2A and we will contact you. Many thanks and I look forward to working with you.

Autumn Term 2021

We are very excited to welcome you all back into school!

For the next two weeks we will be catching up, focusing on wellbeing and getting back into the routine of school life.

Once all of the class return on the 6th of September we will be looking at a lovely text called, 'Letters from the Lighthouse' by Emma Carroll.

Our Topic for this term is World War Two.

Things to remember:

  • D7's school day begins at 8:50am and finishes at 3:30pm. Drop off at KS2 gate. All children will need to be collected at the end of the day. (Mrs. Britton will be outside).
  • All pupils need to bring a packed lunch (unless school dinners), a water bottle and a healthy snack.
  • A PE kit will need to be provided. Please bring clothes for indoor and outdoor activities.
  • The tables will be in rows and all pupils will need to face the front of the classroom. (please see picture below)
  • The children will have individual pencil cases. Please don't bring any stationery from home.

See you all very soon blush

Mr Hill and Mrs Brittion
