Spring 2 2020
This half term our theme is 'Dinosaurs and all that rubbish' based on the book of the same name by Michael Foreman. We will be learning about the 3Rs - reduce, reuse and recycle - and what we can do to reduce waste.
Spring 1 2020
Welcome back! I hope that everyone had a restful break.
We have hit the ground running in Dosbarth 3 with everyone keen to work hard.
Our theme this half term is 'Black Gold' in which we will be learning about the coal mining industry in Wales and the evidence of the industry around us today. If anyone has any information or first hand experience to share please let us know. We will be taking a trip to the Rhondda Heritage Park and taking part in their coal mining experience to learn more about what it was like down the pits.
Your child will bring home a reading book in their Homework Bag to share with you. Please listen to them read and write a comment in their reading log. It is VERY important that the book is returned to school on Monday in order that we can listen to them read and change their book.
