We would like to extend a big warm welcome back to school and into your new class to all the parents and children of D2.

In D2, Mrs Treasure and I job share. I teach from Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Treasure teaches from Wednesday to Friday. Our class LSA (Learning Support Assistant) Mrs Draper.

This term, we will be starting with a mini-topic designed specifically for post-lockdown recovery. It is based on a beautiful book claaed 'Here We Are' by Oliver Jeffers. This will last for the first 3 weeks of term. After that our topic will be 'Sticks and Stones'. Through this topic we will be doing lots of outdoor activities, using our lovely forest and gardens.

Please find below a list of all the things you need to know:

  • Children to be dropped off at the main Foundation Phase entrance at 9am and collected at 3.10pm prompt;
  • All children will need to bring a packed lunch to school every day until the school kitchen service reopens;
  • All children will need to bring a healthy snack for break time;
  • All children will need to bring a water bottle - water only please, no squash, juice or fizzy drinks;
  • School uniform is to be worn;
  • All children will need PE kit to be left in school for the half term - plain white t'shirt, plain black shorts and trainers;
  • All children will need wellies to be left in school to avoid school shoes becoming wet and muddy;
  • Homework and reading books will be sent home towards the end of the week and will need to be returned on Mondays;
