1. Monday - Florence Nightingale
Look at the pictures below. Some are from before and some from after Florence Nightingale. Which are before and which are after? Discuss with your child.
2. Tuesday - Modern Day Superheroes - Police
Please talk to your child about the role of the Police. Remind them about the visits the Police have made to school to help them understand the different emergency services and how they help us. Now chat about why their role is very important during lockdown. What extra things are the police doing to help keep people safe. Write these ideas and words around the picture.
3. Wednesday - Superhero Craft Challenge!
Make some superhero cuffs - see the picture below for ideas, but be as creative as you can!
4. Thursday - Welsh
Make a dandelion or daisy chain. Count in Welsh as you thread the dandelions / daisies on. Helpful hint: a dandelion chain is easier to make than a daisy chain as the stems are thicker.
5. Friday - Physical Skill Challenge!
Throwing – aim – use a large ball, soft toy etc and practise your aim by throwing it into a bin, bucket, clothes basket, hoop etc. How far away can you hit the target from? See the Fitness & Wellbeing page in the Learning at Home section of the Key Information area.
