Welcome to D3

Welcome back to the new Spring Term 2018
Our topic for this half term is Black Gold. Children will be learning all about life in the mines and will take part in a range of activities in order for them to learn more about what life was like in a coal mine and how important it was to their heritage. We also hope to visit an old coal mine at The Rhondda Heritage Park so children can gain first hand experiences of the conditions men and boys had to face when working down the mine.
We will also share some videos and photographs of all the fun we will be having learning about this exciting topic on our page.
